SRFA - Secondary Recovered Fuel with Additives to reduce emission
SECONDARY RECOVERED FUEL , with ADDITIVE to reduce emission.
The synergies between the co-combustion of the Solid Recovered Fuels and the De-SOx additives in power plants and cement industry allow a considerable SOx reduction.
The replacement of the traditional fuel currently used with the Solid Recovered Fuels with low sulfur content, allows a reduction of SOx emissions. The additivation of additives, widely used in multiple plants and verified and tested , chemically activated at high temperatures, allows the neutralization of HCl, HF and S The neutralization products are solid particles that can be removed from flue gas through existing device, in fact the additives weakens the dust deriving from co-combustion. The use of an additional (dry) sorbent can be useded at a low temperature to achieve compliance with IED ELV (200 mg/Nm3).
